Does anyone find it ironic that Norm Coleman says he would vote in favor of this bill and at the same time meet with Ford Motor Company?

Bad. Worst news today. This issue will keep getting pushed to the back burner because nobody has the guts to take on the manufacturing, power and automobile industry to make any changes. I'm glad I will be dead in another 50 years, because the air quality will be terrible and there will be a ton of other environmental issues. Nice forward thinking everybody, and lots of luck to your grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Average Joe!

Amy Klobuchar and Norm Colman are two nuts jobs. Global warming my behind. The hoax will only make Al loser Gore and his friends rich while hard working people struggle to pay their energy bills.

Why should McCain and Obama be allowed to run around and not doing their job? We want to see your votes and not your empty promises!

I'm an environmentalist and conservationist at heart, so I'm by default in favor of anything that will help raise the cost of fossil fuel energy. Cheap energy is wasted energy. I don't want to fight the "What will happen if we don't act" debate, and I accept that we might be powerless to do or undo anything. Success breed success until it doesn't. I just have to look at the VAST reserves of coal in the world and know as oil and NG deplete, our path can only get dirtier unless we change our ways, use less, pay more, and ultimately hope something better comes along.

Theres no such thing as a bill on climate change, it either changes or it doesnt and no democrat can do a thing about it.

You want to pay more for energy ? Fine, write out a check if you want. I don't want to pay extra for this global warming hoax.

Throughout history and prehistory, there have been countless periods of global warming AND global cooling – but global COOLING has been far more devastating to plants, animals and humans. There’s a close correlation between solar activity and global climate change, but practically no correlation between carbon emissions and climate change. If we unilaterally impose strict limits on carbon emission in the US, we will simply be driving more industrial jobs overseas, to places like China where they don’t care IN THE LEAST about polluting the air. This will not only ruin our economy, it will also make global air quality that much worse.
