Boehner says Obama outreach to Republicans is hopeful sign

Well, it's too bad that Mr. Boehner is just now realizing that President Obama has NOT been asking for an increase in anyone's income tax rates. He has been asking for the removal of some unnecessary and wasteful tax deductions and credits in relation to a forecast for ongoing deficits. If Boehner wants major entitlement reform that will impact the lower and middle classes, Obama is asking that the wealthy share in the sacrifice by limiting their tax deductions. It's as simple as that. If things are so bad that you want me to have to work 5 more years to get Medicare, I would like people like Romney to pay more than 15% of his income in taxes.

Pucno, that's a good one. Share in the sacrifice? Would you say paying for 90% of all tax by the top 10 percent is paying there fair share? If not, then a meaningful conversation with you and the left is a total waste of time.
