Same useless drivel, but more of it and faster, is my prediction.

I only log in to Facebook when I'm dying to know what my old high school and college friends' young kids did/said that day, or what those same people are thinking of cooking for dinner tonight. In other words, very rarely.

I don't have an account to any of the social networking sites and not really sure I would have time to use it because my real-world social life actually takes up most of my time.

Of course it is all about Facebook trying to sell more advertising and not about the user.

This SOUNDS good, but there's got to be something missing here. They cut out the usefulness and ad more advertising with every "update," so I'm being cautiously optimistic.

Get rid of "suggested posts" and then we're talkin'.

The last thing I need is another network news feed. I'll take my pals' postings, inane or inspiring, over the suggested posts any day of the week - or month - or year.

If Facebook--and its shareholders--want more advertising revenue, they need to lighten up on the rules for promoting posts. I am the social media manager for a couple local businesses, and every other ad I try to promote gets rejected for having too much text for the image. First they make you pay to reach all of your fans, and then they try to tell you how many words you can use when marketing to your fans that you now have to pay to reach. Foolhardy. If Facebook shareholders knew how hard they were making it to advertise, there'd be an easier way.
