Are you really going to go with the starting lineup as the reason they lost? Nebraska nearly ran out of players due to foul trouble and the 315 pound Brazilian outplayed them. It's nebraska, for gods sake. Wouldn't it be awesome if they drew them again for the big ten tournament? Or better yet Northwestern.

Start and keep your best players on the floor! Teach your players how to play against a zone defense. Make adjustments at halftime as necessary. Fundamental basketball and coaching are not rocket science.

This has been SO typical of a Tubby Smith team since he came to Minnesota. He'll win a big game just to have his players fall flat on their face the next game. Games that they SHOULD WIN. He can't get his teams to play at a high level for any length of time. I love Tubby but he has to go.

I've commented for a long team about this team, no guts no glory. You all had to know this was predictable. Purdue by 15. Please no NCAA bid and embarrass us even more. And get beat by a team like Sienna.

I thank Tom Osborne for getting us a coach Miles. Pick yourself up, Gophers, the basketball season is in front of you. I'll be rooting for you in the NCAA's while we will try our shot at the NIT.

So we're in agreement this Gopher team has demonstrated it is capable of beating the best - Indiana, Michigan State and losing to the worse - Northwestern, Nebraska and a poorly playing Iowa. Sort of seems like this team has the talent, just not the motivation or the plan. Geez, sounds like a coaching problem to me!

It's a Minnesota team in a game they should win. Of course they are going to lose.

Make Tubby the football coach and make 'Ol Jer the basketball coach....why not? It will be a lot more interesting and the teams won't play any worse!

If only the boys could have team meetings without the coach before every game, like they did for Indiana, they could win out.... Ok, what's really, really wrong with that picture?.. the why.
