Conn. lawmakers create privately funded account for workers affected by Newtown shooting

HARTFORD, Conn. - Connecticut lawmakers created a special charitable fund on Wednesday to help cover the mental health costs of first responders, educators and other workers traumatized by the Newtown school massacre.
