The best stock market results in the last 80 years have come with Democrats in the White House. About 8 to 1 better than when there has been a GOP president. Maybe Obama is not trying to destroy American capitalism as the right has tried to convince us in the last four-plus years.

Highest market ever, highest corp profits ever and still, lowest taxes on the theoretical "job creators." But for regular people, enemic recovery and pitiful wage levels andn high unemployment. This is all absolute proof that supply side economics (trickle down) is a fallacy.

Is it just me, or isn't it interesting that, as the middle class's wealth is dramatically flattening or decreasing, Wall Street's wealth is skyrocketing? Those who can afford to invest, buy, sell are having a bonanza, all greatly helped by the absence of financial transfer fees, low capital gains taxes, and obscene tax loopholes for passive income.
