What's the problem. We have a runaway government and no leader. Maybe the Italians imported too much of whatever it was that makes us stupid.

"Italy: No stable government. No pope. No worries." .............. Uh, Mr. Bastasin--the Pope resides in Vatican City (an independent country), not Italy.
