Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of Geena Davis and her body of work. That said: Really? Does she really believe that a man, who was hired because of the tone of his body of work, was going to do anything else? Does she think that a single nominee or winner was thought of less because of his comments? If there is a societal norm to be derailed in relation to how women are to be perceived, stop criticizing/critiquing their choice of clothes walking into that establishment. Seth had willing participants in his parodies and jibes. Show me Natalie Portman walking down the Red Carpet in tasteful jeans and a T-shirt without being verbally mauled by every female correspondent in the U.S. and THEN women will no longer be second-class citizens.
