This may turn out to only be a couple of inches plus some freezing rain. After all, another infamous "dud snowstorm prediction" by local weathercasters is long overdue.

Where is the math in the statement 10 inches between midnight and 6 a.m. Snow will fall at the rate of 1 inch per hour at some point. This hints at less than 6 overnight. The NWS says between 3 and 7 will fall overnight. So please where is the headline 10 inches in 6 hours coming from ?

Pioneer Press site says forecast just downgraded to 6-8" total by tomorrow night. Who to believe? Driving to work in AM will still suck no matter what!

9:49PM. Just took the trash out. Stared across the way at the streetlight to see how heavy the snowfall is, and it's sparse, barely dusting things. If we have more than 5 inches in the metro by this time tomorrow night, I'll eat my hat.
