Biden said marchers "broke the back of the forces of evil..." Would that be the evil Democrats who, for decades, stood in the way of civil rights? I'm sure that inconvenient fact is omitted from current high school history books.

When are black people going to understand how they are just pawns to the rich, mostly white democrats. Five years into his term and the first black (or part black) president hasn't done anything to improve African Americans situation. In fact, more blacks are living in poverty than ever before. Why do blacks keep falling for the lying rhetoric of dems?

rudo1212: "Would that be the evil Democrats who, for decades, stood in the way of civil rights? I'm sure that inconvenient fact is omitted from current high school history books." Those who parrot this "fact" conveniently omit the fact that the Dixicrats were far-right bigots who longed for the return to Jim Crow. Those people are now the heart of the Republican Party in the south. With Nixon's "southern strategy" those who oppose civil rights became Republicans, and southern Democrats are the progressive, pro-civil rights, pro-voting rights party. That's what is in the history books, for anyone who bothers to read them.
