Don't get to high or low, I understand that. The problem is this program has spent so much time on the low, they need to enjoy the high. A good coach would have praised Trevor, and omg Elliott to no end. There was no better time to say what a great job these players had done than at the post game interview with ponder's hot wife. Again, a lousy job by Tubby.

Some real issues here. 1. If the Indiana coaches changed Hulls shooting mechanics and did not play their freshmen and did not play a true center they would be in eigth place in the Big Ten. Changing the shooting mechanics of Welsh last year and Andre and Otto this year, not playing true center Eliason and not playing the Gopher freshmen this year are the reasons the Gophers are so inconsistent. These are decisiions made by Smith and his staff. Also, there is something very wrong with our culture when young thin women who dye their hair blond are paid lots of money to interview coach's or write articles even though their knowledge level of basketball is so much less than a former, coach or basketball player. I would rather see someone like Al Mcquire do the interview. This is the way things were done years ago, when people cared about violating the civil rights of others.

they dropped how many big ten games in a row then beat the hoosiers on an off night. hope for what you want, but the NIT is more of a reality than the ncaa tournament.

It will be a good test today at home against the Nittany Lions. Based upon their performance in conference play to date, it is highly likely that they will struggle to beat Penn State and probably lose at Nebraska and/or Purdue or both. I hope that proves not to be the case but there really is no reason to not expect that is how it will shake out. As noted hre previously, they are good enough to jump up and beat a good team now and then but not good enough to play well consistenly...for whatever reason, be it bad coaching and/or players who lack the talent, confidence and grit to play consistently well or both.

Interesting dichotomy between what Tubby preaches--maintaining an even keel--and what he practices. When times were good, he spoke of the team in terms of "we", but when things went south he publicly berated certain players. He celebrated the Wisconsin win as if it was a shock upset. He holds his head in his hands for long stretches during games, looking defeated and out of answers. Consistency, or lack thereof, starts at the top.
