Past leaders of North Korea would never let a US celebrity visit the country. I would say this is a step in the right direction for North Korea.

What little respect I had for Dennis Rodman is now zero. If he likes the dear leader so much, maybe he should stay there.

Like the worm or not,we probably should send more of these type of'characters' around the world to meet with other heads of state. At least the worm got a smile from this guy.

My kneejerk reaction to this was annoyance too but blue jeans and rock & roll had something to do with the wall eventually coming down too. Cultural isolation gives these leaders power. It's hard to say this sort of thing doesn't possibly chip away at it in some kind butterfly-effect way, Rodman's ridiculous quote notwithstanding.

Maybe Rodman is more successful than our diplomats...

if it somehow leads to more normalized relations with the US, i'm fine with it; however, it's unlikely.

Obama's socialist government shouldn´t be criticizing anyone else. Maybe he should clean up his own mess before meddling in the affairs of other countries. The North and South Koreans should solve their own problems. Oh wait, US taxpayers pay to patrol the Korean DMZ while anyone can cross the US-Mexican border. Priorities???

Rodman can renounce his US citizenship and move there tomorrow for all I care. Just a warning though, they don't have Celebrity Rehab in the DPRK.

Our government wines and dines their own special interests(bridge to nowhere) at the same time people suffer or are killed(interstate bridge) in our own country. This sounds very hypocritical.
