After quitting the BBY board in indignation last year and now failing in his takeover bid, Schulze has to realize he and BBY have little to gain (and much to lose) by him re-joining the BBY board now.

The new and current Best Buy Team is proving to be an excellent fit for Best Buy. The Company is progressing well under the new management team. Therefore, Schultz needs to stop micromanaging Best Buy, and stay in retirement. Let this team do their job without the stress of Schultz under mining their leadership with the constant threat that he going to buy and or take over and rule the Board if he doesn't like what is happening within the Company.
