The team got its first 3-0 lead of the season and Niklas Backstrom stopped 25 shots in a victory.

The deflection goal off the glass was weird, but Backstrom was probably a little loose in the net and got caught off guard. The Doan goal was stoppable. Other than that, the team looked solid.

Good to see the team starting to settle into their roles within the system. The more I watch Parise and Suter the more I appreciate their hockey skills both physically and intellectually. The team will fight to make the playoffs this year as the younger players continue to understand how to play and they are probably a couple years away from really being a top 5 team. But from what I see so far, the future sure looks like it will be fun to watch.

Really a great game, save the last 10 minutes. That deflection goal was obviously a crazy fluke. But great to see Seto, cullen and Heater working so well together. I also think Granlund is showing he's got some grit, after looking like he was scared of cycling along the boards in the beginning of the season. Finally, Zucker and Brodin are both downright great. Love watching those two play. We can win without Parise, which is nice to know. That's exactly where we should be.

Tough buonce off the glass on the one goal. It was great seeing Rupp and Stoner standing up for their teammates. Overall good effort. Cully continues to be one of their best. If they all had the same jump as Cully and Parise they would be on top. Suter is hitting his stride. Fun game to watch.

If Phoenix doesn't get that dumb goal off the spacer they likely don't even bother to pull their goalie. I'm good with this win. It's good to see Heatley firing, it's good to see them score four goals and win in regulation time and its good to see how effective a speedy line like Cullen-Setoguchi-Zucker can be against a team that plays such good team defense. Last thing; good fight by Rupp in the 1st. He hammered Bisssonette good. Let's hope he's saving some that for Taylor Hall on Sunday.

Kudos boys and congrats to the Heater. I have to admit that considering we have struggled on the road and in the scoring department, and knowing the Yotays put up a staunch defensive system, I was unsure of what our fortunes might be last night. Great result and I was pleasantly surprised. Keep plugging Boys!!

Great game for the wild. I give the coyotes credit for not giving up. I consider the game 4-2 because of that goal off the glass but this was a great win for the wild. I really like the zucker-cullen-setoguchi line as it is providing tons of speed. And although I've known this for a while, my god Brodin is an absolute stud. Win again tonight boys! GO WILD!!!!

The picture of the puzzle is starting to take shape. Every element of a strong hockey team was shown starting with Zuckers speed and a quick start. Mike Rupp sent notice that no one messes with our smaller forwards. Strong stickwork and good defense. Tremendous work in the corners by all with Parise never afraid to stick his nose in. And a great outing by Backs to top if off. A lot of credit has to go to Chuck Fletcher who is the premier judge of talent. Absolutely the best effort of the season. This was the game I was waiting for and so were you.

For the first time all season I've awoken to zero negative comments on here! Solid game last night, once again I can't find a fault with Backstrom's game. Two goals were rediculous deflections and the last one was a wide open snipe. Now let's get one in Anaheim, that place has been our achilles heel for too long.
