A basketball practice facility is definitely a need to help both men's and women's recruiting. We are only one of two Big Ten schools without one.

What's the sucking sound coming from my wallet? Oh... that's just the U of M.

Can mid-April come soon enough? After almost 6 years of talking, we'll FINALLY have a plan for a competitive practice facility? OSU is already building their SECOND facility and we're still talking about our first. Any wonder why trying to compete in this league is so tough? And BTW Norwood -- give Kill his raise when he's not last in recruiting and when he wins at least four B1G conference games. You should consider the $800K NC payout a raise, so he's really making $2M this year. That's $1M per conference win per year. Heck, Brewster's assistant (interim coach) did THAT well. When Kill shows some ability to recruit and win AT THIS LEVEL, then give him a raise. It's called Pay for Performance.

While I agree with dewarf's position, I do not agree with his negativity and general denigrating of Coach Kill. It is just too soon for a raise; the general trend of the program is forward and upward, but more good needs to happen before talk of a raise, at least for Coach Kill. Perhaps some help for the assistants would be warranted, but not for Coach Kill - not yet.

Norwood, I don't agree that it should be a given that Kill gets a raise. Why? He received a big raise when he came here to coach this team. He was given an additional 2 years on his contract because the "situation was worse than expected". Now, "just because" new coaches have more leverage coming in & make more money you're going to bump his salary? This can't be real!!!!!! This is crazy!!!!!! This is the joke that is the U of M. Make him win more than 2 games against big time competition. Don't take mediocre schools off the schedule.

I agree with the facility upgrade. The rest of the "stuff" mentioned-NO!
