As a rural, male MN over the age of 50, I guess I am really in the minority here. But, a majority didn't support giving black Americans the right to vote either. As Dr. MLK, Jr. said, "the time is always right, to do right." Do the right thing legislators.

The majority had been wrong so often on social issues , that his why we have a constitution to protect all our citizens and just the the majority or powerful . To the brave legislators presenting this bill, stand your ground, do the Right thing. Don't leave Minnesota in the dustbin of history with other backwards thinking states.

I am female and over age 60. I have seen first-hand the hurt and pain inflicted on kids and adults by singling out gay people. Some of God's children were created gay--nothing that we humans do will change that. Bigotry, discrimination, and hatred have not accomplished anything but have created a sense of isolation and hopelessness in a group of our brothers and sisters. It is time that we try love and acceptance. It is time that we support all of God's children and try to strengthen all families. I do support same-sex marriage.
