Manager Ron Gardenhire is losing former MVPs, a batting title winner, starting players, role players, top prospects and players fighting for jobs to the World Baseball Classic.

Yeah. And the Vikes had 6 Pro Bowl players this year too. Most of the great players are not going to be in the WBC, so you get the remaining bums.

The WBC is a terrible distraction. It's detrimental to the Twins.

With all of these world class players why are the Twins losing 90+ games a year? Why are the twins DOA for 2013. This is a poorly run franchise top to bottom. The root cause is you have an owner who operates on the cheap and has a thick skin. Why did we build Pohlad a new stadium.
