The absent-minded performer
Typical.... Any other performer of Jerry Lewis' accomplishments over a 60+ year career as a performer would have earned the right to a plug for a celebratory TV special unencumbered by journalistic cliched "clever" put-downs. But as the piled-upon whipping boy of a certain type of historically-challenged media tastemakers, Lewis can't avoid the "Minnesota-nice" treatment. Look elsewhere on the internet map for seriously considered comments regarding this special, and enjoy a retrospective look at the most popular and innovative motion picture comedian of the second half of the 20th Century.
