Good restaurants in the Minneapolis skyways

Food trucks have definitely raised the creativity standards for quick-service lunches. But with warm weather on the horizon, don’t give up on downtown’s second floor just yet.

A solid list. If you visit Brothers, be sure to grab an ice cream scooper at the deli bar and load up on the incredible potato salad.

I miss working downtown, good eats! I really liked Sorrento's, they had a chicken parm special every wednesday that was really good!

Sorrento's is still around - moved to the Northstar building, skyway level. A pretty good list (though I still miss the food trucks right now), but I would consider the not-mentioned ALLIE'S, 527 Marquette in the Rand building - to be the skyway gem! Homemade soups and made-to-order sandwiches, wraps and salads. All very reasonably priced and tasty. The best deal is a cup of soup with a 1/2 sandwich. Their halfs are as big as most places wholes! My personal fave is the chicken salad, though I've heard many raves about the Cuban. Excellent pickles also.

Not a bad list. I will add a few of my personal favorites. For chinese, SkyWay Wok located just outside the TCF Building, right before you enter the bridge to go across Marquette. There is a reason this place is so packed at lunch. I second what reetnh said in Sorrento's. My favorite sandwich place is Allies Rand Deli. Family owned and everything made from scratch. I recommend getting the half chicken strawberry poppyseed wrap on spinach tortilla with a cup of wild rice soup...believe me, I like to eat and the half wrap is plenty. For coffee I will say Cafe Patteen in the International Centre. I say this because while I love their coffee, their scones are almost too good. Homemade and delicious. I recommend the Rasberry White Choclate. It is my Friday treat for myself and a reason I am glad tomorrow is Friday. I would include Valention Cafe in the International Center, but that is on the ground floor, so that really doesn't count, although you can get there through he SkyWay. I like this list, but most of the places listed are chains don't include any small indie places that are unique to the SkyWay.

no mention of the insanely amazing Angel Food bakery? One stop there and you will never go to Wuollet's again. Also missed i-potli (something like that) the Indian place. Good food, very popular. Also, Allie's deli - real food, made in house. And La Belle Crepe...good pho.

The Burger Place has reopened in the US Bank building and rocks. A little off the beaten path is the good, reasonable priced Chinese at the Skyway Wok, two locations. Great sesame chicken.

How did you miss Max's? The best place for breakfast/lunch and independently owned???????

Not sure what all the fuss is about regarding The Burger Place - pretty average in my opinion - a little pricey too - not worth the wait.
