Talk about party animals -- a rowdy crowd of sloppy-faced, touchy-feely revelers regularly takes over the Nomad World Pub.

I'm not single, but the meet people through their dogs is very cool. My husband doesn't get into animals. If I knew that while dating it may have made me think harder. I have two dogs and love them to death. I just hope people with dogs that bite, are agressive with other dogs or don't have their shots know not to show up.

You don't have to be single to come to this event. It's just fun to hang out with other dog people! BTW, I'm dying to see a picture of that darling Coco. But I might be biased (I'm her owner).

Nice to see bars opening up to Dog Lovers and their buddies.

I like the idea as it brings an extra element of conversation to dating in case you're nervous. The only downside is the hipsters.

What a great idea. My boyfriend and I are the typical "dog crazy" couple. We just love out Miniature Schnauzer to death and do a lot of things built around him. I was so glad to see that the state is going to allow dogs on patioes where applicable. Something like this would a lot of fun for us, and really everyone wins, the bars get some heavy traffic with people spending money (who wouldn't want that in this economy), the dogs get to play and us crazy dog people get a chance to get together, hang out and mingle. Good times.

You seem like a very deep and wonderful person. I am sure your husband would fell like a million bucks after reading your comment.

come with your dog and come with a little love and sing along: How sweet it is to be loved by you, yes it is!

A lot of the same people who would bring a dog, that could very easily disrupt someone else's meal, have an objection to smoking, even outside on patios. I love this idea & plan to go to an event...I just wish that people would be consistent. And, no, don't tell me that it's a health issue (outside). Also, I'm glad we're doing this as a community...I fear that a day is coming soon when the Muslims & their sympathizers will prevent this kind of thing because they have a big problem with dogs. This just happened in MN at at a High School in St. Cloud! A Muslim Student forced out a disabled teacher with a dog. I'm telling you it's coming, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Nothing wrong with doing it 'doggy' style. I think this is a really good idea.

I just came across the article and would have to add as a single guy who checked out the event it was a good time for both me and my pooch. I will be sure to check her site and sign up again for a future beer with my buddy event. I will even through her a plug that you check out her web site http://www.k9-connection.com/
