Tevlin: Myron Frans' unusual route to tax honcho

Myron Frans stood quietly at the back of the room at a recent conference of Realtors, listening as they cheered Republican legislators every time they railed against taxes. He was next up to speak, and it didn’t look pretty.

Too bad the Realtors haven't figured out who their customers are. Recently I heard a legislator say that Realtors have a history of opposing any attempt to raise the home-buying power of new buyers with education and affordable tuition. Ironically, this lack of vision demonstrates that Realtors need a more informed and educated leadership. They are their own worst enemy.
