People will spend if they have the money. Not if they feel good or not. The real issue is that most people have not had a true pay raise in years. And inflation is out there now and it is building. Every year the inflation is 2 to 3 percent up each year. Add that up and no wonder people do not have the money to spend. Add in the FICA tax and the gas price and that leaves very little for the consumers. Nothing on the horizon shows anthing getting better. Lots show things are going to get worse. Take your posion.
These Obama rah rah stories are great, the reality is unemployment will get worse the economy is no better and concumers will not spend as much despite what washington tells you.
