What can you say - If he means what he says, his comment signals that there will be no change - and that sends an uncomfrotable sense that Smith is just hoping and grasping... Is his ego that big that he really thinks that he can beat Crean and Indiana, doing what he came up with last meeting that didn't work, "if we only try harder" - or that Indiana went hard all last meeting and MN made it close? He is probably the only one on the planet that thinks his small-man defense could stop Zeller and Olidipo... "No change" says either he just doesn't know what to do; he is clueless about game strategy; he thinks opposing coaches are fools and they will heed him; or maybe he really thinks he can outscore them... I am betting that he has totally missed the ref situation and will not even try to use it... We will find out this game - will he adapt, or if he is lost and in over his head and cannot adapt.

Every time I think of Smith hollering at Eliason for getting a foul while Eliason kept the post player from moving to the basket for over ten seconds with no help whatsoever, my blood pressure jumps and my jaw locks... [rest was deleted, because either Smith changes in this game, or he doesn't and he is gone - MN comes out ahead either way. ]

I am sure that Tubby and his great coaching staff will have a stellar game plan for Indiana. I bet they have several out of bounds plays that will work under their own basket, and will run an effective offense, both man to man and against the zone. On second thought-Gophers have zero chance tonight against Indiana.

If we play the game we will have a chance. And what a great opportunity to recapture our rep. The key will be balance. The ball has to go inside for easy shots when available, and it has to come back out for jump shots made. Austin, Dre, Julian, and Mav have to shoot a few threes so defense cant collapse on the inside. We need to cherish the ball and make 75% of our foul shots. And Trevor, Elliot, and Mo have 15 fouls to give, and no reason to surrender the inside to Indiana. Go Gophers!

Absolutely NO chance of winning..The Gophies will tease you a bit, maybe a 10 point lead at some point..then "BANG" Mr. Oladipo or another Hoosier will completely take over and bury the Gophies..MN has nobody that cares to lead or step up..Then tomorrow the comment section will be a carbon copy of what it's been over the past month..These guys are happy to congregate on selection Sunday and keep their fingers crossed that they make the tourney, while most upper crust teams are working on fine-tuning their game and improving their seed..

We're going to get crushed like some kind of aluminum soda can. Absolutely crushed.
