The Wolves point guard is feeling confident, and it shows in his recent stats, especially free-throw totals.

ARRey sez: "I was talking to my dad [Sunday] night," Rubio said. "And I was like, 'I never lost so many games in a season.' I lost more games in the last month than all my life, I think. I'm not going to get used to it, and I'm never going to get used to it.'" Hey Ricky, you play for the Timberwolves. Better get used to it.

Personally I hope he did say that. He's fun to watch and is/will become a great team leader. If the Wolves have a healthy team they can and will cause some damage in the playoffs for several years to come. Perhaps not this season but assuming they keep the core together, they'd be tough to beat. He's only getting better. Rubio, Love, Pek, ... is a pretty good start. I'm looking forward to seeing them start fresh in '14.

Jeez, we all love RIcky, but can't you even at least mention the high turnover number? Talk about hometown Pollyanna puff pieces......

Who cares about his turnovers ? He does enough good to offset them. Want a list of people who average more turnovers than Rubio ? Glad you asked. Rondo, Harden, Kobe, Westbrook, Wall, Durant, Irving, Cousins, Howard, Lillard, Ellis, Teague, Holiday, Lin, Josh Smith, Lebron, Paul George, Batum. Off that list only 7 average more assists than Rubio. Lets not forget Rubio wasn't Rubio for his first 15+ games.
