For all the liquore store owners against it, saying it will spread sales over another day and increase operating costs...then don't be open on Sunday. No laws says just because you can be open that you have to be, but a law that says you can't be is outdated.

Time to finally get this accomplished. There's no reason a business owner shouldn't be able to be open 7 days a week if they want to be, especially on a busy shopping day like a Sunday

Nobody's asking the small fries to open. We just wan the option for those that aren't afraid of a lot of extra business on Sundays.

If the liquor lobby doesn't like it then maybe the grocers will. Let them sell alcohol in the regular grocery section 7 days a week please.

While we're at it, how about letting us buy cars on Sunday, too. All blue laws need to go.

Stay firm senators, selling alcohol on Sundays is evil. In fact you should ban it on Saturdays also. This Public Service Ad is brought to you by the Hudson Area Liquor stores. :)

Can we also do away with 3.2% beer sales at gas stations and grocery stores? Unlike what the big liquor chains think....I do a majority of my grocery shopping on Sundays...would be nice to swing by the MGM next door to stock up for game day and race day Sunday's.

As long as they add $1.60 tax per bottle of beer and $15.00 tax per bottle of liqueur, like they do for tobacco,to keep it out of the hands of children, I am in favor. If it saves one child...

At one time Sunday was considered church & family day. My, how times have changed...

Govt says there is an obesity epidemic but grocery stores are open 24/7? Maybe cub should be closed Sunday? People have no self control. They eat too much, and gasp, drink too much. I have no drinking problem. I do not drink. But I do eat everyday
