If Kevin is truly a team player and wants to build momentum, he will sit out the rest of the year and give his hand a full offseason to heal. Personally, I won't be going gaga to see him and/or Chase back on the floor this season. Save it for training camp. Hope always resurfaces during the off season.

If they are healthy play 'em. 15 games together with no pressure should show us if we have anything at all with this group and help decide who to retain for the core of the team the next few years. Plus I've still got $50 riding on at least 30 wins. Don't let me down guys, I shot my mouth off for months and can't be paying up on this now!

Flip Saunders was on the radio the other day and thought it was a good idea to bring Love back and have him play a handful of games this year. His point was that this will help (re)build team chemistry this year and hopefully it will roll on over into next year. It will also allow Adelmann to figure out his rotation/minutes once he has a full squad. I agree with Flip, yet I can see it the other way too... Just sit those guys and let them fully heal. If I had to go one way or another, I'd lean on Flip's view point and expertise.

KLove is doing it the right way this time. I'm looking forward to seeing him and Chase on the court again this season.

Yeah, don't rush the return to action. But IF these guys are healthy and well-conditioned and ready, then the benefits to team chemistry and morale plus the benefits for the coaching staff all add up to a powerful reason to play them.
