Time to get ALL of our troops out of there. Allowing our troops to be commanded by a foreign leader is absurd and dangerous.

Americans wouldn't tolerate a foreign power on our soil "helping" us maintain the peace while killing civilians. Afghans and other countries shouldn't have to accept "collateral damage" either. God bless the troops, but bring them home. Bin Laden is dead as is Sadam and many others.

about 1 per cent of our population is now fighting our wars...the suicide rate is now at record levels in our armed forces...because we are asking this 1 per cent to go on tour after tour duty in the war zones..the draft should be brought back....you really think middle class and upper middle class families would allow the Afgan and Iraq was to go on this long with their sons and daughters being killed?..the t roops should get our support and respect...they need help...what sacrifice are the other 99 per cent making...besides saying we thank them for their service?..these wars do not affect them in their daily lives...it would be different if the draft took one of their sons or daughters...

Good thing Hillary logged all those miles, so we can bask in the friendship of so many friends around the globe. Bring the troops home, cease the billions in foreign aid, and take care of our own.

Once we quit chasing the terrorists cells, they will have time to regroup and start planning their revenge. Lose - lose no matter how you look at it.

By all means, bring our troops home. All of them. And when Karzi gets captured by his fellow country men, it should NOT be our problem to go rescune him.

This, not Iraq, was the right war to fight, and our military has accomplished heroic and herculean things in Afghanistan despite multiple tours, a corrupt government, political limitations, and unforgiving terrain. There is nothing else to be won; the troops deserve to be brought home.
