I have no dog in this fight. I think the officiating in this game and the one last night was absolutely atrocious. Last night a tripping call in overtime that was no penalty at all, a game winning goal that should have been reviewed but was not, FWIW the goal was directed into the net, notice the left shoulder and pushing forward of the body. Tonight's game an icing that everyone could see not called a goal resulted, a trip called no tripping as shown on TV, the goal knocked off by the defending team and the face-off is outside the zone, and the last call with 6 on 5 was no penalty either. You know when the announcers question this many calls in the games, these refs should not be reffing a mite game much less the state high school hockey tournament.
