Spielman's comment that they know things about Teo the main stream media doesn't sounds like an attempt to scare other teams away from him. I'd rather have a top WR at 23, but if one's not available and Teo is, I would have no problem with the Vikings taking him. I would say quite a few guys his age have strange internet relationships and as long as nobody was hurt it has nothing to do with football and whether he can play.

If he's really this gullible can you imagine how badly he'd bite on an Aaron Rodgers play-action pass?

Don't need the circus -- let the Packers have him. He's not even considered that good by NFL scouts. With that said, Spielman will probably take him due to his penchant for Notre Dame players. As for Spielman's question, "Can you actually have a girlfriend online?" the answer is a resounding no. And that's the very reason he ought to avoid this character.

Forget the girlfriend stuff and the individual's incredible naivete. The real issue is, can the guy play at the next level? I think the answer was clear in the BCS Title Game. Alabama made him look like Carlson (another ND 'great') looked last season in a Vikings uniform. AWOL. This one's easy: pass, Spielman.
