Ok, so what did they do? Awfully easy to make vague accusations against the students to cover poor judgement by the administration.

The school is not allowed by law to disclose what the students did or did not do. Data privacy rules. Pretty tough to be critical of the school if you do not know what took place.

"Randklev wouldn’t say what exactly the students were doing that went beyond dancing". Then it's a totally toothless accusation, data privacy rules or not. Too easy to hide behind that.

I don't think this is even about the hockey game anymore. If those students did something wrong it should have been spelled out for them. You can't just say it was so horrible and let it go at that. An explanation is in order. They might fine students for spilt milk next. From postings in an earlier story on this it sounds like the school has very serious issues it should be looking into. Not students dancing.

Sounds like someone or some "group" might be overreacting a tad. Other "punishment" ought to have been in order if it went over the top maybe, but you don't destroy the school's chance in the tournament because some old fool gets his nose out of joint over virtually nothing. Now the district is the laughing stock of the state.

let them post the video on youtube, and let the public decide! is the camera school property? the students were going to post it anyway, so why not let that be released? it would answer a lot of peoples questions.

How is any of that appropriate for school? I would have grounded my kids for dancing on tables regardless of what the school did. That parents don't get that tells you what is wrong with schools today. Kids and parents think life is one big American idol show.
