Washington County Attorney Peter Orput is a seasoned prosecutor who has worked for the Minnesota Atty. General, Hennepin County Atty's office and was elected Washington County Attorney in 2010. Orput is assisting the Morrison County attorney who requested help after our Minnesota Atty. General refused to assist Morrison County. I commend Peter Orput for taking on this case. Prosecutors should help each other when there is a large sudden volume of felonies especially murder charges. Greater Minnesota County Atty's used to have the help of the MN Atty. General this is so disappointing.
