Mark my words, Tavon Austin will emerge as the best play maker of this years WR group. He'll run the fastest 40 at the combine this year and he's got more elusiveness than Harvin, not power though. Vike fans say we don't need another bubble screen type WR, I say BS, we need play makers and he's the best of this years wr class.

"...shore up their mediocre receiving corps."....upgrade a unit that might have been the league's most ordinary." Dan, you're being too kind. How about the worst receiving unit in the history of the NFL since the forward pass became a weapon.

we need 6-4 wr with speed and leaping ability.justin hunter, cordaralle patterson or the williams kid.the wr class is deep i would be patient and see which wr falls to us in round 2.

Please take the best football player available and use that premise throughout the draft. Every time we go for need we get zelch.

Since we're likely not going after any wideouts on the FA market, we should draft WRs in both of the first two rounds. We can draft a LB in the third and find a guard with one of our fourth round picks. After that - just pick the best of the remaining.

I don't care what WR they draft, as long as it's with their first pick. The Vikings cannot afford to look for a diamond in the rough. They need a WR that will start in week 1. Actually, they need two new WR's that will start in week 1.

And what happens if Manti Te'o drops to the Vikings? How do you pass on that kind of talent considering we need a MLB? He would INSTANTLY UPGRADE our defense!! If we could get Te'o with number 1, a WR with number 2, and a DT with number 3, I think that would be an A+ TOP 3!!!!
