Wow. Just imagine what real difference it'd make if the politicians would bring this much effort and attention to fighting gangsters. You know, the gangsters who are responsible for the vast majority of gun crimes, whom the politicians and police won't hold accountable for the vast majority of gun crimes?

So, how big are the checks you and the NRA propose to write to fund all the additional cops, prosecutors, judges, prisons and related manpower and facilities ACTUALLY needed to carry out the enforcement you keep cluelessly baying about with piles of hollow lip service and precious little else?

Either you want less violent crime or you don't. If the answer is yes, the solution is to enforce the existing laws. New laws won't make any difference and trying to marginalize legitimate gun owners and the NRA is a failed strategy.
