"U.S. House Speaker John Boehner said the system for handling veterans' disability claims is broken"... In an English class discussion of literary terms, you would give this as an example and ask the class if it is an example of "irony" or "hypocrisy."

PS... and if that is not a good enough example of hypocrisy from Boehner, this is "America's veterans," Boehner wrote, "are counting on you." In defense of Boehner, I hope he chose this as a diversion from the sequester problems he should be addressing instead of blaming everybody else.
