I find it alarming that this student-teacher could be put in charge of a classroom of impressionable young children and somehow thinks that only liberals are capable of seeing the stupidity of asking these questions.
It's an odd assumption that thinking about these questions would somehow desensitize the kids to violence. If anything, it compels them to think more closely about the horrors of slavery. It reminds them that slaves were often whipped daily and that thousands died in transit to the Americas.
yeah, you have to wonder if a white racist or a back activist is more likely to write a math question the focuses on blacks being whipped. it could go either way. but lol at the teacher saying "i thought our state was too liberal to be stupid."
