Willing to give Burch every chance....but where do I park in that neighborhood? That is their biggest issue, unless they have some dedicated parking you don't mention in the article.

"once dingy aspirin emporium" ??? really? Burch Pharmacy was a welcoming place, offering useful things for sale, and was not dingy. Of course for upscale trendy foodies not from the neighborhood, a place like Burch Pharmacy would seem pointless. Too many of our neighborhoods are losing useful merchants who provide everyday things to everyday people who live in nearby to become foodie destination trend spots.

Burch Pharmacy was the first place I ever played video games.. Asteroids and Pac Man in one small back corner with all us neighborhood kids jammed in, our quarters lined up on the edge of the screen in eager anticipation. Before that it had had a soda fountain/ lunch counter.. It was magical, not dingy... but glad it has been remade into something new. Good luck.
