Three days after losing by 21 points at Iowa, the floundering Gophers lost by 26 at Ohio State.

A very big thank you to Joel Maturi for bringing in the services of Tim Brewster and Tubby Smith. And to think you're still collecting a paycheck after these terrible choices which has cost the U of M athletic department millions of dollars in lost revenue and fan apathy. Enjoy your retirement and please do not provide any "advice" for Norwood Teague because we don't need him to follow your lead on anything!

The coach needs to bring out the strengths of the players. Tubby has good players but can not get the best from them. Let him go.

@waynev - You state, "Tuby is just like Obama, all talk and promises no results. Never his fault if they loooose always the GOP's fault if he doesen't get his way. Wake UP people !!" Huh? What does this have to do with anything about this coach and his team performance on the court?

A coach gets paid to do a job and should be evaluating based on performance. Division I coaches should be especially held to this standard. Tubby and his coaching staff are accountable and there should be no excuses. This situation is completely different when talking about situations were control does not rest with the person 100%. Tubby has full control. Time for Tubby to go.

Norwood Teague = Joel Maturi.. Have some spine and make a change today. Tubby came here to retire folks.. What more did we expect?

Hey Tubby if you don't have leadership within the team, your the coach there certainly isn't any leadership from you nor has there been since you stepped on campus. Body language says alot and its telling me your players no longer believe in their coach or his system. Dre is a sophmore this year and if I were him I'd be gone as soon as I could and go play and excel at a school with a coach who actually knows how to coach. I hate to see a someone like him stay here and get worse like all Tubbys players do.

On a personal level, I like Tubby Smith. But he has proven once again this year that he is just not up to the caliber of play in the Big Ten. It is time to let him go and perhaps find someone that can coach in the Big Ten.
