Republican senators are wasting time and our tax dollars grandstanding on the Benghazi issue -- something completely unrelated to the Hagel nomination. They have deluded themselves into thinking that the country actually wants to watch them hold up business and suck all of the air out of the room. The GOP is not doing themselves any favors. They are just making people even more disgusted by their behavior.

You can change the title of this entire article to "One More Reason Why the Congressional Approval Rating Is Nearing Single Digits." And further, why don't you come out and say the truth? The republicans are fighting Obama every step of the way, and guess whose side Israel is on in this issue? When asked if this was "personal" what was McCain's response? Wonder what Hagel thinks about his one time friend now, and the republican party.

Hagel is getting "Borked." Or should that be "Thomased?"

If liberals actually listened to this guy they would turn their back on him. Unfortunately, the low information voter believes that Obama walks on water, never questions anything he says or does and follows him blindly.

Glad Repubs are finally putting up a fight against King Obama and his sub par appointments! Also Obama and Clinton want this Benghazi thing to go away! Why? Because they know they screwed up and they want to cover it up. Keep the pressure on them Repubs! They deserve it!

I love how the left are defending ANYTHING Obama does. This guy has made many anti Israel remarks and has been insulting to Jews for YEARS. If this was a Bush nominee, the left and the media would be all over it. But, because it's Obama, everything is just fine!

Can anyone imagine if Bush was president during Benghazi. It would still be front page news. Obama was contacted and totally distanced himself from the entire situation. He was not able to be contacted for over 16 hours. His response? Go on a campaign tour and totally ignore the poor Americans being attacked. I guess that votes are more important than the lives of our brave people fighting for their lives!

If Obama nominated McCain for a cabinet position the Republicans would probably oppose it at this point. Heck, McCain would probably oppose it himself. Why? Just because.

Bush would never have appointed a fiscally responsible leader of the military. look at the mountains of waste during his administration. How many $billions of dollars have gone missing in Iraq? In Afghanistan? Hagel isn't anti-Israel, he just isn't willing to give them a blank check. How many of Israel's wars have we sent troops to fight with them? The war of independence? The Yom Kippur war? Three day war? None of them. Israel can more than take care of themselves. In fact, most Israelis want America to stop meddling in their business. Of course Israel does't mind handing apocolyptic evangelical fruit cakes from the USA a weapon and welcome them guard the frontier -- one of the funnier developments in the last 10 years as we have had plenty "the sky is falling" Americans go over there to do so.
