"Can't wait to help the team out ".................Gosh!!! I forgot that the Vikings were financially destitute!! I'm sorry for being so thoughtless.

Can't wait to help the team out by playing the bingo game. Sounds like fun.

Instead of going after social programs, emtorisgoo, why don't we just put a surtax on Viking players and management? The player salaries for this year are $105,263,631. Management is at least that. Let's say conservatively $200 million. At 10% over 30 years of the contract the State and City wouldn't have to pay anything. Wilf and his kids can play their silly game and not be a financial burden on anyone.

"Any software product is sure to be delayed." You can download open source "bingo" software from the internet for FREE RIGHT NOW! It's not like BINGO requires newly developed proprietary processes or sophistcated algorithms. For God's sake man BINGO is currently deployed in almost every small town VFW across the entire country!

How about we create a new 10% tax on all money wired out of the country from Minnesota and use that to fund the stadium?

How about we take the $330Million we annually we spend on social services for illegal aliens and just cut them off the dole? That could pay for the stadium and allow the state to reduce taxes!

"Minnesotans waiting for the rollout of electronic bingo games at bars and restaurants"..........I like how they assume it's plural.

"If they're so confident on this ebingo to pay for the stadium, how about we get the system up and running, and make the WilfQueens wait until there's 50% in the bank BEFORE they break ground?" - According to yesterdays poster, if the money doesn't come in this way, it gets shifted to new taxes on luxury suites in the stadium and onto ticket prices for those who choose to go to the games so I'd suggest not playing the games if you want those using the stadium to fund it more. Play paper pull tabs if you like them and don't send any business to places that have e tabs but not regular ones.

When the funding falls short I think we should get a law suit rolling and sue Dayton, Rybak, Mondale and the Entire City Council of Minneapolis.
