PS.... this statement is just wrong..."When the investigation concludes, there will be civil and criminal charges brought against those who financially benefited from the decision to build it."... It should read "When the investigation concludes, will there be civil and criminal charges brought against those who financially benefited from the decision to build it?"

people should not be surprised. Any software product is sure to be delayed. If the electronic bingo is delayed only a month, it would be a miracle.

If electronic game proceeds are insufficient to pay off the stadium why not dedicate the proceeds of proposed sales tax on clothing and expanded sales tax on services to the deficit? That would be redistribution "Minnesota style."

If they really want to break ground next year they are going to have to send Mark Dayton out to stand on a street corner with a sign and a coffee can to "fund raise". What a sad and pathetic move by our state leaders... The only bi-partisan move they make is to line the pockets of wealthy team owners and players... PATHETIC!

this is going to go down as one of the biggest booddoggles this state has ever seen

Just wait! The State run Healthcare Exchange is supposed to be ready to sell in 9 months! The State is so confident in that that they have expanded Mn Care and Medicare!

Imagine what this new tax could have done if applied to roads, schools, or public safety rather than subsidies to the NFL and Unions, and to burden Minnesota with another expensive governing body. I hope people choose not to play these e games in the numbers we saw of those opposed to any public support for an NFL stadium Minnesota didn't need. According to one poster yesterday, that will shift the cost more onto those people who choose to use the good/service Minnesota is now unethically, I'd say potentially illegally, subsidizing. If you don't like these sorts of abuses of authority, just don't fund the crimes by not playing the games.

When the funding falls short I think we should get a law suit rolling and sue Dayton, Rybak, Mondale and the Entire City Council of Minneapolis.

If they're so confident on this ebingo to pay for the stadium, how about we get the system up and running, and make the WilfQueens wait until there's 50% in the bank BEFORE they break ground?

"If they're so confident on this ebingo to pay for the stadium, how about we get the system up and running, and make the WilfQueens wait until there's 50% in the bank BEFORE they break ground?" - According to yesterdays poster, if the money doesn't come in this way, it gets shifted to new taxes on luxury suites in the stadium and onto ticket prices for those who choose to go to the games so I'd suggest not playing the games if you want those using the stadium to fund it more. Play paper pull tabs if you like them and don't send any business to places that have e tabs but not regular ones.

"Minnesotans waiting for the rollout of electronic bingo games at bars and restaurants"..........I like how they assume it's plural.
