So someone prominently displaying irrational hatred enters the hospital, makes an irrational demand, stands to reason he's prone to irrational action, the hospital takes steps to keep you safely away from him and you're suing the hospital? Opportunistic, to say the least.
This poor baby is starting life with two strikes against him -- health problems that keep him hospitalized for at least a month, and a belligerent hate-monger father.
We actually did some role playing about how to handle that type of request with staff. Communication may have been the problem here. Substitute gender for black and is that ok? You explain to all staff that the patient has feelings you don't agree with, but that you will honor the request in order that staff is not mistreated and that should help.
