I saw an officer patrolling traffic in a Ford Expedition yesterday. Can anyone enlighten me as to why there is a need for taxpayers to provide this oversized luxury sport utility vehicle for this purpose? And how about the numerous Dodge Chargers in use that are unable to transport prisoners, resulting in the need to call another squad to the scene for transport? Is this not getting to be beyond ridiculous? Why is a full-size four door sedan with a police package V8 and suspension not good enough? What's next, McLaren F1s?
