After a spectacular fall from grace, radio personality Jeff Dubay knows he’s been granted a second chance with a 1500 ESPN gig – and he’s grateful for it.

I've been a listener since his days (daze?) with Bob Yates. Man, how far back was that? Anyway, Dubay definitely was made to do sports radio. Especially to rant about the Gophers. I hope he can keep it together and continue his return to the top. To the middle, I mean. Best of luck to the Bunny.

Nothing against the man personally, and I sincerely wish the best for him health-wise, but as a radio personality, he's un-listenable. Since ESPN 1500 brought him on and changed line ups, I've went from having that station on in the background for 8 hours to not listening at all. Four hours of hyped up Dubay followed by some crusty old curmudgeon, Obama hater like Soucheray is a waste of time.

Glad he's clean for today. The desire to use crack will never leave and I hope he understands that. What he has is only a daily reprieve based on the maintenance of his spiritual condition. That crack demon is omnipresent, but doesn't have to be acted upon. I know.

He stills seems a little on edge to me, compared to how I last remember him with PA. Maybe over more time he'll relax. HIs unconventional method of kicking the habit does not bode well (statistically) for a successful long term recovery. Good Luck.

Dubay must always work at keeping the demons out of his head because drugs, especially that drug, have a strange way of sneaking back in to your life when you least expect it. Good luck on keeping clean, Jeff. You can do it if you work hard at it.

Good luck to him and all drug or alcohol addicts. Compare this story to the poor kid whose parents are users or in prison, and what chance do they have going forward? Think of all the breaks a guy like Dubay has received and it is still tough. Large groups of people get written off (especially on talk radio), yet somehow there is compassion for Dubay. He is fortunate. Good luck to him.

Jeff Dubay was a great hire by ESPN 1500. I'm a PA fan, but if I could only listen to one I would pick Jeff. Jeff Dubay says what were all thinking as a "Minnesota Sports Fan"

He is back talking sports, back to his old time slot, back to ranting and raving at 100 miles per hour. I find it very hard to listen to him because of this. I wouldn't want to be in Zulgad's position and not be able to get a word into any conversation. Dubay,, SLOW DOWN! And I wish you the best in your recovery.

I was listening when he told his story to Chad, and it was some of the most riveting radio ever. Good for Dan Seeman for seeing the potential and giving him a chance. It's great to have him back on the air.

I too am happy for Jeff and only wish him the best, but I cant listen either. He is just too frantic and hyper for me. Zulgad must leave the studio with BP over 200. I wish joe anderson was still there.
