"Stand your ground" protections for self defense are not for poor people, for people with any arrests - convicted or not, nor for people we know will commit crimes... They are for the good people who are true Americans... [sarcasm]

The shooting took place in Kennesaw GA. famous for its city ordinance requiring heads of households to own at least one firearm with ammunition. Those exempt are residents "who conscientiously oppose maintaining firearms as a result of beliefs or religious doctrine." Others exempt include the physically and mentally disabled, paupers and those convicted of a felony. A sad story for everyone involved.
