That odor coming from the Guthrie proscenium theater? “That’s the powerful smell of mendacity,” as Big Daddy would have said to Brick, in Tennessee Williams’ “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.”

Excellent production! I want to see it again. The cast is stellar, the set is stunning, and the story is very powerful! Be prepared to laugh and cry.

Interesting that the son in the play produces reality shows, the sister produced a book made up of a partial reality and the parents live in total fantasy. This play is wonderfully acted. The writing always is on the mark. To compare it to "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof", is not a stretch. It's that good, especially with this cast! Stu Borken
