Okay. I'm fine with Backstrom backing Kuemper for the rest of the season.

I hope Zucker is kept up. His speed really helped spark that second period explosion. He may still be a bit of a defensive liability, but this team needs that kind of speed and aggressiveness.

If Zucker is sent down and Granlund stays, time to fire whoever made that decision. Granlund is looking more and more like James Sheppard II.

Kempher is the number 1 star of the game, its nice of them to give Zucker the number 1 star, he was not even close to the number 1 star, Kempher is the number 1 star and the better goaltender between the two teams by far. Detroit worked harder than the Wild, it did not matter that the Red Wings were destroyed by injuries and were playing there a goalie that played in his second pro hockey game, those guys play man, just like we use to 4 years ago..... Zetterburg, Datsuk, Brunner owned our first line (koivous) 5 on 5, just owned them ..... Zuckers speed should create a space for him on the team, he can fly

I like the energy/effort of the last two periods. I would like to see the same players dress for Thursdays game. Give the players at least 3-4 games to see if they develope some chemestry and consistency. Great win for a developoing team!! Go Wild!!!!

Calm down yathinkso. Granlund has assists in three straight games. Name me one time that Sheppard ever did that. The pressure of starting him on the second line was probably a mistake this year but he is improving every game.

Anyone else laugh and do a face palm on the 2 on 1 shorthanded breakaway with Clutter and Brodziak? Clutter coming down the side and for some inexplicable reason, Brodziak literally turns and faces Cal at the blue line before trying to turn back to the net and promptly tripping over. Just had to have Brodzkak in there tonight eh?

we need to keep a physical d with Sutter and the other finesse d's . Prosser needs to play all the time,Zucker needs to stay and I have liked Mitchell's speed from the start.Heatley is painful to watch except when he snipes a goal and our power play sucks. We still break out only along the boards , where is the coaching? You got sometime this week ,start fixing things.

We were at the game tonight. I'm am so happy to see the new blood contributing already. The Wild looked awful in first period. There was a lot of people booing by the end of the first period. I guarantee you Yeo chewed their butt during the first intermission. They came out looking like a completely different team in the 2nd period. They were actually attacking the net and following through on their checks. Looks like the gears are starting to mesh.
