Goodbye season. It was fun while it lasted. Fire Tubby.

I expect Smith to be gone by this evening, and if not Teague should go with him tomorrow. this is a new low for the program.

This ship is sinking fast. The team is not playing for their coach.

When a good zone defense is thrown at the Gophers, it's like they've been asked to solve a set of differential equations. It shouldn't be that difficult...it comes down to coaching, or lack thereof.

What a poor excuse for a D-1 basketball program.

Minnesota went a 19 minute stretch where they scored any points on 4 of 35 possessions. If Tubby keeps his job, there aren’t any metrics being used to gauge a coach’s performance. This team is completely clueless and now on the verge of giving up.

Tubby you have been posing as a coach for a few years now & still collected a check, it is time to do the ethical thing & leave quietly without holding the U hostage over some buyout clause.

Reading between the lines when listening to Minnesota AD Norwood Teague, it appears he might have interest in Anthony Grant (over Shaka Smart). He hired both coaches at VCU (Grant was prior to Smart). Anthony Grant is a fantastic coach and if MN were able to get him, it would be huge. Obviously, Shaka Smart is equally as good. Either way, this has to be the end for Tubby, doesn’t it?

The better team won. Beginning to think the Goph's talent is much overrated (not that Tubby's coaching helps). We have two players on the entire team who can sometimes hit an open jump shot outside of 10 ft, and one player who can "sort of" handle the ball well. So if we're not getting easy baskets off turnovers or getting it inside, we're done. Unfortunately you don't get points for being athletic, fast and jumping high---just when the ball goes through the hoop.

I wonder what Tubby’s dance was after this game?
