Obamas balanced way to fix the budget, zero cuts and more spending, and tax those who already pay 70% of the taxes more. Forget it we heard that one before.

Obama has no leverage. The sequestration will occur and finally make cuts to our bloated budget. The Dems and Obama agreed to the terms of the sequestration. Now live with it. I know I can.

Obama wants to borrow and spend his way to a balanced budget. It makes no sense, but electing a guy with absolutely no experience in business or politics made no sense either.

How can any newspaper continue to print talk about a "balanced way" without pointing out the fact that taxes have already been increased this year? Democrats are not proposing balance of any kind - they simply want to continue spending more and more, while increasing taxes on a minority that will pay for a fraction of the increased spending.

As others have stated, Republicans have absolutely no reason to negotiate the size of the cuts. Be willing to negotiate WHAT is cut, but don't give an inch on the size of the cuts which were already agreed to.

President Barack Obama is concerned about the effect that looming, drastic across-the-board budget cuts will have on the middle class, his new chief of staff said Sunday. - Well, at least his chief of staff is worried. Obama is not. He will get the cuts he agreed to, since he can't come up with one thing to cut on his own. Maybe he should have read the super committees suggestions before passing and praising them. So much for progress. Nothing has changed.

There is not ONE thing that is "balanced" that Obama wants. All he wants is MORE money to spend. So Far, his "deficit reduction plan" has added over 200 BILLION MORE to the deficits. And he wants to spend even MORE. More giveaways for votes at the expense of the taxpayers. Was is Franklin that stated "A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury"

Also, super committee cuts are not a cut in spending, they are just a cut in proposed spending increases. No wonder there are so many who don't understand. The government lies to everyone about what a cut is. Budget increases each and every year. What a cut, that is the kind of pay cut I want...

Yeah protecting the middle class by letting the fica tax cut expire. Anybody check the price of gas and groceries lately? Obama isn't doing squat for the middle class except redistributing our money to the welfare state.
