To anyone who has consider attending a game, I urge you to do so. This team is great, the arena is great, the prices are low. In my opinion, watching the Gopher women's team is just as enjoyable as the men's team. This team is sort of a hidden gem.

At a time when most Minnesota sports teams are really stuggling, this team is a breath of fresh air and needs MORE recognition, both in our state, and nationally.

It's interesting that in the Strib's local calendar for upcoming games that the Wolves who are terrible, the Wild who aren't much better, the Gopher hoops team having another so-so season have their games listed but the Gopher women on a 40 game win streak might as well not exist. Why is that do you suppose?

Most U Minnesota teams are NOT struggling! May I suggest a look at wrestling, gymnastics (Men's & Women's), swimming (Men's & Women's). Men's BB is still ranked and Men's Hockey is #2. Also, the baseball team knocked off #2 UCLA in their first game.

It's clear the Gopher Women are the best in the country, whether they win the national title is another story. I have to believe it is becoming quite difficult, mentally, to stay focused. The pressure will only get higher and higher the further they go in the playoffs. I truly hope they can pull it off, but it won't be easy.
