Yeah, I often find myself saying, "What this town really needs is a lobbyist to run things right."

Just what we need --- a mayor whose proudest accomplishment is the building of the highly successful Block E.

Hey Jackie, can you explain that Target Center deal again, that you championed? Biggest financial albatross hanging over the city budget. Glad you learned something since you have been gone, hopefully, something to to balancing a budget.

MPR in 2002 published a piece questioning why Cherryhomes, after losing her bid for re-election in the Fifth Ward (defeated by Natalie Johnson Lee), chose to purge 12 years' worth of files, memos, etc from her office. Cherryhomes claimed she kept good records in her memory, and claimed a computer crash resulted in a loss of data. Whether or not she was within her rights to destroy data, and whether or not her actions complied with the Minnesota Data Practices Act, it remains arguable that she presented as spiteful of the office, of her constituents, and toward the city in general. I can't stand Rybak and look forward to his departure, but to think we have this woman, known to be a deplorable politician, in the running is frankly sickening.

I didn't think the leadership of the city could get any worse - I was wrong. She would take Mpls down to Detroit level.

Wow, no mention of her sweet real estate deals from when she was on the council. We don't need to know about those things, right?

Cherryhomes' was demanding 24 hr. police security when Sayles Benton did not think there were legitimate threats. She is the worse candidate to date.
